ANCMF-AU-H-H-01

Objective
To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in hospitality housekeeping areas, adhering to Australian cleaning quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by dusting all surfaces from top to bottom to prevent dust from resettling.
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cloths for distinct areas to avoid cross-contamination.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpet and rug, paying particular attention to the edges and corners.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant, ensuring adherence to the product's contact time instructions.
Commence the bathroom cleaning process by first focusing on the sink and tap, followed by the toilet. Ensure to use a separate cloth for each area to maintain hygiene.
Replenish guest amenities, ensuring all items are neatly arranged and stocked.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and report any discrepancies.
