Objective
Ensure the ATM area in hospitality facilities is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for users.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all the necessary equipment and supplies, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Apply disinfectant to a clean cloth and sanitise the ATM keypad, screen, and touchpoints, allowing the solution to dwell as per the manufacturer's instructions.
Wipe down walls and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left behind.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring particular attention is paid to corners and edges. Following this, mop the hard floor using a neutral detergent.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and ensure waste is disposed of in accordance with facility guidelines.
Inspect the seating and waiting areas, cleaning any spills or stains using the appropriate spot cleaner.
Ensure all dust and dirt are removed from signage and information boards by cleaning them with a damp cloth.

GoodMinor dust or smudges on less than 5% of surfaces. No strong odours. Floors are clean with minimal debris. ATM touchpoints are sanitised. Rubbish bins are empty with minor marks.
PassNoticeable dust or smudges on 10% of surfaces. Mild odours present. Floors have some debris. ATM touchpoints are sanitised but slightly wet. Rubbish bins are not overflowing but have visible marks.
FailVisible dust or smudges on more than 10% of surfaces. Strong odours present. Floors have significant debris. ATM touchpoints are not sanitised. Rubbish bins are overflowing or dirty.
