Objective

Ensure the yoga studio is maintained in a clean, hygienic, and welcoming condition, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and health regulations.

Scope of Work
  • Dust all surfaces including shelves, equipment, and window sills.
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas and mats.
  • Mop hard floors with appropriate cleaning solution.
  • Sanitise all high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and taps.
  • Clean and sanitise mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins.
  • Ensure all cleaning is performed using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
  1. Begin by dusting all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture dust and allergens.
  2. Vacuum carpets and mats using a HEPA-filter vacuum cleaner to ensure air quality.
  3. Mop hard floors with a neutral pH cleaner to prevent damage to surfaces.
  4. Use a disinfectant spray on high-touch surfaces, allowing appropriate dwell time for effective sanitisation.
  5. Clean mirrors and glass with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.
  6. Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and sanitise the bin interior and exterior.
  7. Ensure all cleaning tools are cleaned and stored properly after use.
