Objective

Ensure the tennis court in the hospitality facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and pleasant environment for users.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all rubbish and debris from the court surface and surrounding areas.
  • Sweep the court surface to remove dust, leaves, and other loose particles.
  • Sanitise high-touch surfaces such as net posts and seating areas.
  • Inspect and clean court lines and markings to ensure visibility and cleanliness.
  • Empty and sanitise rubbish bins located around the court area.
  • Check and clean surrounding fences and barriers for dust and cobwebs.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Method
  1. Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris from the court and dispose of it in the designated rubbish bins.
  2. Use a broom or mechanical sweeper to thoroughly sweep the court surface, ensuring all dust and loose particles are removed.
  3. Apply a suitable sanitising solution to high-touch areas such as net posts and seating, using a cloth or spray bottle.
  4. Inspect court lines and markings, using a damp cloth to clean any visible dirt or stains.
  5. Empty rubbish bins and replace liners, then sanitise the bin surfaces with a disinfectant wipe.
  6. Use a duster or cloth to remove dust and cobwebs from fences and barriers surrounding the court.
  7. Ensure all cleaning equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
