Objective

Ensure the fuel tank area in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning and workplace health and safety standards.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all visible dirt, dust, and debris from the fuel tank area.
  • Sanitise all surfaces to prevent contamination and ensure safety.
  • Use colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Dispose of all rubbish in designated rubbish bins.
  • Ensure all cleaning activities comply with relevant Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Method
  1. Inspect the area for any visible debris and remove it using appropriate tools.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth to capture fine particles.
  3. Sanitise surfaces with an approved disinfectant, ensuring contact time as per manufacturer's instructions.
  4. Use a mop with a suitable cleaning solution to clean the floor area, ensuring no residue is left.
  5. Check and empty rubbish bins, replacing liners as needed.
