Objective

To ensure the rail siding area is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Scope of Work
  • Dusting of all surfaces including rail tracks, platforms, and surrounding areas.
  • Removal of rubbish and debris from the rail siding and adjacent areas.
  • Mopping of hard surfaces to remove spills and stains.
  • Sanitising of high-touch areas such as handrails and control panels.
  • Cleaning of signage and lighting fixtures to ensure visibility and safety.
  • Inspection and cleaning of drainage systems to prevent blockages.
Method
  1. Begin by collecting all visible rubbish and debris using a trolley and dispose of it in designated rubbish bins.
  2. Dust all surfaces using a colour-coded system to prevent cross-contamination.
  3. Mop hard surfaces with a suitable cleaning solution, ensuring no residue is left.
  4. Sanitise high-touch areas with an approved disinfectant.
  5. Wipe down signage and lighting fixtures with a damp cloth.
  6. Inspect drainage systems and remove any obstructions.
