Objective
Ensure the compressor room is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Dust all surfaces, including machinery, pipes, and ledges.
- Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles and control panels.
- Vacuum floors to remove dust and debris.
- Mop floors with appropriate cleaning solution to remove stains and spills.
- Empty rubbish bins and replace liners.
- Inspect and clean air vents and filters to ensure optimal air quality.
- Use colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
Method
- Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and supplies, ensuring colour-coded cloths and mops are used.
- Dust all surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest points and working downwards.
- Sanitise high-touch areas with a disinfectant spray and wipe with a clean cloth.
- Vacuum the floor using an industrial vacuum cleaner, paying special attention to corners and under equipment.
- Mop the floor with a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
- Empty rubbish bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to facility protocols.
- Inspect air vents and filters, cleaning them with a vacuum or damp cloth as needed.

Documentation
