Objective

To ensure the helipad area in hospitality facilities is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Scope of Work
  • Remove all debris and rubbish from the helipad surface and surrounding areas.
  • Sanitise all touchpoints, including railings and access points.
  • Inspect and clean drainage systems to prevent water accumulation.
  • Ensure all markings and signage are clearly visible and free from dirt and grime.
  • Utilise colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Conduct a thorough visual inspection to ensure no foreign objects are present.
Method
  1. Begin by collecting all visible debris and placing it in the appropriate rubbish bins.
  2. Use a high-pressure washer to clean the helipad surface, ensuring all dirt and stains are removed.
  3. Apply a suitable sanitising solution to all touchpoints and allow it to dwell for the recommended time before wiping clean.
  4. Inspect drainage systems and remove any blockages or debris.
  5. Check all markings and signage for visibility and cleanliness, cleaning as necessary.
  6. Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness standards.
