Objective
Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene in staff toilets within hospitality facilities, adhering to Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all necessary supplies, ensuring colour-coded cleaning cloths are used to prevent cross-contamination.
Start by emptying the rubbish bin and replacing the liner.
Apply disinfectant to all toilet surfaces, allowing for the appropriate dwell time before proceeding with scrubbing and rinsing.
Sanitise the tap handle and dispenser by wiping them down with a sanitising solution.
Mop the floor with a sanitising solution, ensuring all areas are thoroughly covered.
Dust and wipe all horizontal surfaces, ensuring no dust or debris is left behind.
Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas are clean, dry, and free from odour.
