Objective
To ensure the buffet area in hospitality facilities is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for guests.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the area by eliminating any loose debris and arranging cleaning supplies on the trolley.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring particular attention is paid to edges and corners.
Sanitise food-contact surfaces using a food-safe sanitiser, ensuring to allow the appropriate contact time as per the manufacturer's instructions.

Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and clean the bin using a disinfectant.
Clean the glass surface with a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks remain.
Thoroughly wipe down the walls and skirting boards using a damp cloth and a suitable cleaning agent.
