Objective
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in shared bathroom facilities within hospitality environments, ensuring compliance with Australian cleaning standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Prepare the cleaning trolley with all essential supplies and equipment, making sure to use colour-coded cloths and mops to avoid cross-contamination.
Empty the bin of rubbish and replace the liner, ensuring appropriate disposal in accordance with the facility's guidelines.
Apply disinfectant to all surfaces, ensuring an appropriate dwell time for effective sanitisation.
Clean and polish mirror and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner and microfibre cloth.
Dust and wipe down all fixtures, fittings, and high-touch areas using a damp cloth.
Mop the floor using a disinfectant solution, ensuring that no residue is left behind.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness standard.
Inspect and clean the ventilation grille and air vent to guarantee optimal airflow.
Inspect and replenish soap dispensers and toilet paper holders as required.

GoodSurfaces are clean with minimal dust, mirrors and glass have minor streaks, no strong odours, most consumables stocked.
PassSurfaces are generally clean but may have some dust, mirrors and glass have visible streaks, mild odours present, some consumables low.
FailSurfaces are visibly dirty, mirrors and glass are streaked, strong odours present, consumables are empty or nearly empty.
