Ensure the Discharge Lounge in the healthcare facility is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff, in compliance with Australian health and safety regulations.
Cleaning Methods
Start by organising the cleaning trolley, making sure it's fully stocked with all the necessary supplies. Utilise colour-coded cloths and mops as needed.
Begin by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working your way downwards.
Sanitise high-contact areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant, ensuring to allow for the appropriate contact time.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpet, ensuring particular attention is paid to corners and edges.

Empty the rubbish bin, sanitise both the interior and exterior, and replace the liner.
Clean the seating area using an upholstery cleaner, addressing any visible stains or odours.
