Objective
To ensure the service lift in the healthcare facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising the risk of infection and ensuring compliance with Australian health and safety regulations.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared and equipped with colour-coded cleaning cloths and the appropriate cleaning agents.
Commence by dusting all surfaces from the top downwards, utilising a microfibre cloth.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a hospital-grade disinfectant, ensuring all surfaces remain visibly wet for the necessary contact duration.
Mop the floor using a neutral pH cleaner, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Utilise a HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris from the floor.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and then sanitise the bin both inside and out.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.

FailSurfaces are visibly dirty with dust and smudges. High-touch areas are not sanitised. Floor is dirty with significant marks. Strong odours present. Rubbish bins are full or unsanitised.
