Utilise a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination, ensuring the use of separate cloths for handrails and steps.
Dust all visible surfaces utilising a microfibre cloth.
Sanitise handrails and touchpoints using an approved disinfectant.
Utilise a vacuum equipped with a HEPA filter to clean the steps and adjacent areas.
Spot clean any marks or spills using an appropriate cleaning agent.
Clear any rubbish or debris from the step and the surrounding area.
Inspect and clean the edges and grooves of the escalator using a small brush or vacuum attachment.
