Objective
Ensure the stairwell in the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, adhering to Australian cleaning and workplace health and safety standards.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, commencing from the top of the stairwell and progressing downwards.
Sanitise handrails and high-touch areas using a disinfectant solution, ensuring all surfaces are thoroughly wiped.
Sweep the entire stairwell, including corners and edges, to remove dust and debris.
Mop the stair tread and landing using a neutral pH floor cleaner, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Gather and dispose of all rubbish in the designated waste bin.
Spot-clean walls and doors using an appropriate cleaning agent for marks and stains.
Clean and polish the glass surface using a glass cleaner, ensuring no streaks are left.
Inspect the light fixture for dust and cobwebs, and clean as necessary.
