Objective
To ensure the loading bay of the government building is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring safety and compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by removing all visible rubbish and debris, ensuring it's properly disposed of in the designated rubbish bin.
Sweep the entire floor area to eliminate dust and loose dirt.
Prepare a mop bucket with an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring it is colour-coded for the designated area.
Thoroughly mop the floor, ensuring special attention is given to corners and edges.
Utilise a sanitising solution to thoroughly clean all high-touch surfaces.
Dust all ledges, sills, and equipment surfaces using a microfibre cloth.
Inspect the area for any stains or spills, and promptly clean them using the appropriate stain-removal technique.
Ensure all rubbish bins are emptied, cleaned, and lined with new bin liners.

FailSignificant dust, dirt, or debris present; surfaces are not sanitised; bins are full or overflowing; strong odours present; floor is wet and hazardous.
