Objective
To ensure the swimming pool area in the education facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Ensure the cleaning trolley is prepared with all necessary equipment and supplies, implementing a colour-coded system for efficiency.
Start by emptying all rubbish bins and replacing the liners.
Sanitise all surfaces poolside using the appropriate disinfectant, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Mop the floor using a disinfectant solution, ensuring no residue is left behind.
Sanitise and clean the changing room's shower and toilet, with particular focus on high-touch areas.
Sanitise and wipe down poolside and seating furniture.
Inspect the area to confirm that all tasks have been completed to the required standard.
Inspect and replenish soap and sanitiser dispensers as required.
Clean and polish all glass surfaces and mirrors.
Dust and wipe down lockers and storage areas.

FailVisible dirt, grime, or watermarks on high-touch surfaces. Strong odours present. Dispensers empty. Floors are wet or slippery. Glass surfaces are dirty or heavily streaked.
