Ensure the Archive Room in the Aged Care Facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for staff and residents.
Cleaning Methods
Equip the cleaning trolley with all essential tools and supplies, ensuring the use of colour-coded cloths to avert cross-contamination.
Begin dusting surfaces using a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Thoroughly vacuum the carpeted area, ensuring special attention is given to edges and corners.
Mop the hard floor utilising a damp mop and the correct cleaning solution, ensuring no excess water is left on the surface.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with the facility's protocol.
Sanitise high-touch areas using a disinfectant wipe, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
