Objective
Ensure the ramp in the aged care facility is clean, safe, and hygienic for all users.
Cleaning Methods
Start by removing all visible debris and litter from the ramp using a broom or vacuum cleaner.
Use a microfibre cloth to dust the handrail and neighbouring surfaces.
Disinfect the handrail and high-contact areas by wiping them down with a disinfectant wipe.
Spot-clean any spills or stains using a damp cloth and a suitable cleaning agent.
Thoroughly mop the entire ramp surface using a mop and bucket filled with an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring uniform coverage.
Ensure the ramp is completely dry before permitting foot traffic.
Quality Criteria
ExcellentAll surfaces visibly clean, no dust, stains, or debris. Pleasant appearance with no odors. All cleaning tasks completed to highest standard.
