Ensure the staff shower area in the aged care facility is hygienically clean and safe for use, adhering to relevant cleaning standards.
Cleaning Methods
Clear the shower area of all personal items and debris.
Apply a suitable disinfectant cleaner to all surfaces, ensuring sufficient dwell time.
Scrub the shower walls, floor, and fixtures using a non-abrasive brush.
Thoroughly rinse all surfaces with clean water.
Dry all surfaces using a clean microfiber cloth to avoid water spots.
Polish mirrors and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner.
Dust and wipe down all horizontal surfaces using a damp cloth.
Empty the waste bin and replace the liner.
Replenish soap and paper towel dispensers as required.
Inspect the drain and remove any visible debris.
