Objective
Ensure the chapel in the aged care facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, providing a safe and serene environment for residents and visitors.
Cleaning Methods
Start by dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth to efficiently trap dust.
Use a HEPA filter vacuum cleaner to clean carpets and rugs, ensuring a reduction in dust and allergens.
Mop the hard floor using a neutral pH disinfectant, ensuring all areas are thoroughly covered. Remove any excess water to prevent slips.
Apply a disinfectant spray to high-touch areas, ensuring sufficient contact time for effective sanitisation.
Empty the waste bin, replace the liner, and sanitise the surface of the bin.
Clean glass surfaces using a non-streak glass cleaner and a squeegee for large areas.
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard.
