Objective
Ensure the shower room in the aged care facility is cleaned to the highest standards, maintaining hygiene and safety for all residents.
Cleaning Methods
Start by eliminating all loose debris and waste from the shower room.
Apply a suitable cleaning agent to all surfaces, allowing adequate dwell time.
Scrub the surface using a non-abrasive brush or cloth to eliminate grime and soap residue.
Thoroughly rinse the surface with clean water.
Wipe down mirrors and glass surfaces using a glass cleaner.
Apply a disinfectant to all high-touch areas and allow them to air-dry.
Empty the waste bin and replace the liner.
Inspect and replenish soap dispensers and other hygiene products.
