Objective
Ensure the mechanical room in the retail facility is maintained to the highest cleaning standards, ensuring safety, hygiene, and compliance with Australian regulations.
Cleaning Methods
Equip the cleaning trolley with all necessary equipment and supplies.
Begin dusting all surfaces with a microfibre cloth, starting from the highest point and working downwards.
Sanitise high-contact areas utilising disinfectant spray and a cloth.
Empty the rubbish bin, replace the liner, and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines.
Utilise a commercial-grade vacuum cleaner equipped with a HEPA filter to vacuum the floor.
Utilise a colour-coded mop and bucket system to mop the floor, ensuring the application of an appropriate cleaning solution.
Inspect the air vent and filter, then clean using a vacuum or a damp cloth as necessary.
Utilise an extendable duster to wipe down the walls and eliminate cobwebs.
