Objective
Ensure the staff parking area is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene, in compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Begin by collecting all noticeable rubbish and debris, then dispose of it in the suitable waste bin.
Use a broom to sweep the entire car park, focusing particularly on corners and edges where debris tends to gather.
Prepare a mop and bucket, using a suitable cleaning solution. Ensure it is appropriate for the surface type.
Utilise a sanitising spray and cloth to thoroughly wipe down high-touch surfaces, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Mop all hard surfaces, ensuring special attention is given to areas with visible stains or spills.
Clean public amenities utilising a colour-coded cleaning system to prevent cross-contamination.
Inspect all signage and clean using a damp cloth to guarantee optimal visibility.
Inspect the drainage grate and remove any debris to ensure optimal drainage.
Utilise the suitable cleaning product to eradicate graffiti or markings.
