Objective
Ensure the waste storage area in the industrial facility is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, minimising health risks and ensuring compliance with Australian workplace health and safety requirements.
Cleaning Methods
Start by eliminating all waste material and depositing it in the designated rubbish bin.
Utilise a trolley to transport cleaning equipment and supplies to the waste storage area.
Dust and wipe down all surfaces using a microfibre cloth and the appropriate cleaning agent.
Sanitise all surfaces using a disinfectant solution, ensuring special attention is given to high-touch areas.
Mop the floor using an appropriate cleaning solution, ensuring all spills and stains are effectively removed.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
Inspect waste containers, clean and sanitise them, and ensure they are free from odour.
